Please read all instructions thoroughly, then carefully decide on the best mounting plan for your specific vessel. The closer the lasers are mounted to the observers eye level, the brighter they will appear. This will help when viewing the lasers in bright daylight and at longer distances. Be sure mounting platform area will support the laser generator and not interfere with any other mechanical or electrical devices. Be sure there are no obstructions in the laser path and that the lasers will not obstruct any movement about the vessel by passengers or crew.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

The Bow Laser emits a Crosshair Beam that´s visible on the Special Docking Target. This shows that your vessel is CENTERED as it approaches your slip. The Stern Laser Line shows that your vessel is STRAIGHT as you approach your slip. This means the stern won´t swing and bump the dock sides as you enter the slip. It works great when backing out, too.
 

ELECTRICAL – The L650 Laser Crosshair Generator and the L660 Laser Line Generator both operate from 12 Volts DC @ 35 mA. This means that both laser projectors can be switched through the same SPST switch for operation. The Black wire is negative and the Red wire is positive.

The case of the laser projector is positive.
DO NOT SHORT CASE TO GROUND OR NEGATIVE VOLTAGE MOUNTING

Select your mounting locations carefully. The closer that the two laser generators are mounted to the eye level of the observer, the brighter the reflected laser images will be. This will help in viewing the lasers in bright daylight and at longer distances.
